Lauren Overby, Publicist, comes to the J Public Relations San Diego office with a depth of PR experience and knowledge cultivated from several years working with culinary, hospitality and travel and tourism clients across the country.
Lauren made the cross-country move to join the JPR team and work on the Sprinkles Cupcakes, San Diego Beer Week, RA Sushi, Fixtures Living, Westfield UTC, TailGate Beer and Nika Water accounts. Prior to joining the J Public Relations team, Lauren worked as an Account Executive at a full-service communication and integrated marketing agency in New Orleans, specializing in media and community relations and event planning on a local, regional and national level.
A skilled communicator and PR strategist, Lauren enjoys developing and maintaining media relationships and implementing creative campaigns to advance the client’s bottom line. A southerner at heart, Lauren grew up in South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Public Relations from the University of Alabama.
