Jessica Smith, Publicist, brings a fresh perspective to the J Public Relations team. Jessica, a graduate of the nationally ranked San Diego State University School of Journalism and Media Studies, brings a keen eye for new market trends and social media technologies.

Jessica has worked on various media campaigns for marquee lifestyle and hospitality JPR clients, including: Harrah’s Rincon Casino and Resort, Stingaree Restaurant and Night Club, Rimel’s Restaurant Group, the Gerber Group and Instead Health Sciences.

A sharp and passionate PR professional, Jessica has quickly developed a skill for uncovering newsworthy angles for her clients and for confidently managing the details of media relations and events details. Jessica offers clients inventive and highly effective approaches to generating media attention that will impact their bottom line.

Prior to joining the JPR team, Jessica headed the public relations and marketing efforts for a San Diego-based health and wellness center. While there, helped launch a new location and crafted a targeted publicity campaign which that increased revenue and raised visibility with the center’s core client base.

Jessica’s dedication and enthusiasm for her clients leads her to develop invaluable relationships with key players in local and regional media.

Jessica enjoys opportunities to give back. She has played an important role in some of JPR’s pro-bono public relations campaigns. including San Diego’s innovative New Children’s Museum, A Reason to Survive (ARTS) and Father Joe’s Villages.
