Ali Lundberg is JPR’s Director of Publicity and brings more than 10 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications to the team. Prior to joining JPR in 2011, she was the Director of Communications for Enchantment Group Spas & Resorts where she managed the public relations and branding for the company’s award-winning properties, including Enchantment Resort and Mii amo Destination Spa in Arizona, and the Tides Inn near the Chesapeake Bay. Her background also includes several years of Agency experience overseeing notable hospitality, tourism and real estate accounts.
Ali is the recipient of many awards for her public relations and marketing efforts, including the prestigious PRSA Copper Anvil in the category of media relations. In 2011, she was elected to the Board of the Public Relations Society of America’s Travel & Tourism sector. Her efforts have garnered national media placements in publications including Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Food & Wine, SPA Magazine, USA Today, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Robb Report, as well as recent segments on the Today Show, Good Morning America and the Travel Channel.
When not in front of her laptop, you can most likely find Ali walking her dogs in downtown, cheering on San Diego sports teams with her husband and reading travel magazines at her two favorite spots…the beach and the spa.
Ali received her degree in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
