The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since its inception in 1983, the San Diego chapter has granted more than 2,800 wishes to children in the San Diego and Imperial Counties. A Season of Wishes was nationally designed to raise awareness of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission as well as increase donations to grant the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions. This six-week celebration during the holiday season serves not only to raise funds and awareness among the San Diego community, but, most importantly, to make wishes come true.
