Nestled into the hillside in the heart of Park City’s downtown, the Washington School House will epitomize luxury service and style when it reopens in December 2011 with seven single rooms and five suites. Listed on the National Historic Registry and one of the last surviving original schoolhouses in the United States, the century-old landmark will undergo an unprecedented restoration in preparation for its grand opening. Awe-inspiring sixteen-foot high ceilings and nine-foot windows will be the focal point of the guestrooms, offering incredible views of the mountains and downtown. For added enjoyment of the natural surroundings, a privately situated heated outdoor lap pool will also be built for guests to use for post-ski relaxation or summer swims.
