Located in San Diego’s coastal enclave of Del Mar, Burlap is set to burst onto the scene as the hottest restaurant opening in North County in summer 2011. The sister restaurant to the wildly successful Searsucker, Burlap is playfully described by Executive Chef Brian Malarkey as “Asian Cowboy” cuisine where the “West Eats Meat”, Burlap’s offerings will be a hybrid of meat, seafood and bold sides with an Asian influence. Dishes will be paired with local craft beer, a selection of one-of-a-kind wines from all over the world, and hand crafted cocktails.
