Few restaurants achieve the level of international acclaim that Nobu has attained.
Nobu, the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurant, is known for its innovative and artistically prepared new-style Japanese cuisine. Nobu launched its San Diego location in November of 2007 and tapped JPR to handle publicity efforts surrounding the opening.
JPR closely worked with the Nobu team to coordinate the restaurant’s grand opening party – easily considered the most coveted invitation of the year – and managed one-on-one press interviews for Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Academy Award-winning actor Rober DeNiro, who is a Nobu partner.
JPR also coordinated local opening press and reviews for the restaurant, securing features placements in outlets that included Riviera Magazine, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Magazine and Ranch & Coast, along with numerous television segments on NBC and CBS affiliates.
